BURLINGTON COUNTY YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY LEAGUE

 

The RV Youth Field Hockey League (RVYFHL) is part of the Burlington County Youth Field Hockey League. The BCYFHL was established to provide girls in grades 3-8 an opportunity to learn and play the exciting and fast-paced game of field hockey. The league is comprised of two divisions: The junior division is for girls in grades 3 through 5. The senior division is for girls in grades 6 through 8. The junior division plays games on Saturdays and the senior division plays on Sundays.

Teams for the 2022 season include Bordentown, Burlington Township, Delran, Haddonfield, Marlton, Mt. Laurel, Rancocas Valley, Seneca and Southampton.  Each week, one of the towns serves as host and all the league games that weekend are played at the host location.

Established in 2013, the RV Youth Field Hockey League was created to introduce girls in our community to the sport of field hockey.

 

The goals of this league are to stimulate a love for the game by immersing the player in the sport and giving the participant the opportunities and training essential for her improvement. Players will be introduced to the game and exposed to competition on various age and skill appropriate levels. Over the course of the season, the player's enthusiasm and self-confidence will grow along with her skills. 

Coaches


Our RV Youth Field Hockey League has former high school and college level field hockey players sharing their love and knowledge of the game with our league participants. Many of our coaches are Rancocas Valley Regional High School Field Hockey Alumni. Our coaches generously volunteer their time to help create a recreation and feeder program for our community.
